For travelers, my state offers a lot of sightseeing opportunities including national parks, wildlife’s, unpolluted beaches, traditions music and dance, handicrafts, tribal culture, Sambalpur dress materials, Handlooms, Stone carvings, different silk sarees etc. We have a lion’s share of the Country’s mineral reserves like chromite, nickel, bauxite, iron ore and coal. We are one of the largest paddy producing state of India.

But I feel sad when people asks me ‘Why Odisha is poor? We have everything to be No1. We need commitment to achieve our goal . It was the same Kalinga which was an independent kingdom located in the eastern coast lead by the great Ashoka.

କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋତେ ପଚାରନ୍ତି ‘ଓଡ଼ିଶା କାହିଁକି ଗରିବ?’, ମୁଁ ବହୁତ ଦୁଃଖ ଅନୁଭବ କରେ। ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ଥାନ ହାସଲ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମର ସବୁକିଛି ଅଛି | ଆମର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ହାସଲ କରିବାକୁ ଆମର ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ | ଏହା ସେହି କଳିଙ୍ଗ ଥିଲା ଯାହା ଅଶୋକଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୂର୍ବ ଉପକୂଳରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଥିଲା |

ଆମେ ‘କଳିଙ୍ଗ ସ୍ୱରାଜ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ’ , ଓଡିଶାର ପ୍ରଗତି ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିବା ସହ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ଆମର ସମୟ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଛୁ। ଓଡିଆ ଭାବରେ ଆମେ ଓଡିଶାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ, ଏବଂ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟକୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କରିବାକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଛୁ। ଆମେ ଆମର “#ହଁମୁଓଡ଼ିଆ” ଅଭିଯାନରେ ଯୋଗଦେବାକୁ ଏବଂ ଓଡିଆ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟରେ ଏକ ସକରାତ୍ମକ ପ୍ରଭାବ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବାକୁ ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ବସବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଛୁ |
